When Clara, an ambitious and introspective young woman, begins a love affair with Arthur, a sculptor commissioned to produce artworks for a controversial Middle Eastern oil mogul, she is forced to confront her privilege, idealism, aspirations and ethics.
Anabel Altenburg completed a BSc in Sociology at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, motivated by a desire to understand more about the way in which our social structures perpetuate inequality. After teaching secondary English at a school in London via Teach First, she is now pursuing a Masters Degree in International Education Policy at Stanford University.
