It is almost midnight and before I turn off my
light,
I see my Moleskine resting on the table
unassumingly,
but its presence is so loud that I
cannot ignore it.
This is my time.
I scratch in my purse for a pen.
Let the poem begin.

Micharn Pollock, is an award-winning writer, artist and actress, born in the Eastern Cape in South Africa. Her father is a photographer who taught her the joy of capturing a moment. Her mother showed her all about colouring outside of the lines, about finding her voice.
